This is an option to improve the accuracy of measurement cameras using stereo vision, including the aeroTAP 3D USB camera. It is a compact infrared projector that can be used with USB power.
In addition, the aeroTAP 3D GS camera can be powered on/off using the internal GPOI.
By outputting random dots using a low-power laser projector, it is possible to safely measure surfaces without texture and in low light.

Kit Contents:
aeroTAP DOE projector main unit USB power conversion switch USB cable The head part can be separated from the head mount part for the aeroTAP 3D camera head. The screw part can be fixed to other parts with a nut.
IMPORTANT: The head and mount are fixed with adhesive. IMPORTANT: Any damage to the equipment caused by modifications is at your own risk.
By disassembling the USB power conversion switch, it is possible to connect it directly to a 3V power supply such as GPIO and control it.
Important: The connector terminal is not compatible with the GPIO connector, so you will need to change the connector part. Important: You are responsible for any damage to your equipment caused by modifications.
